Two still in custody after drugs seizure

Two men aged 44 and 41 remain in Garda custody this morning following a significant drugs seizure in Dublin.

Almost 60kg of cannabis worth €750,000 was discovered after Gardaí from the National Drugs Unit intercepted two vehicles at Airside Business Park in Swords yesterday afternoon.

The seizure contained 49kg of cannabis pollen found in one vehicle and 9kg of cannabis resin in the other.

The two men were arrested at the scene. They are being held in Swords and Malahide Garda stations.
