Seventeen jobs to go at Waterford firm

Seventeen jobs are being lost at Morris Builders Providers in Waterford, it has emerged.

The company said that it has suffered a dramatic downturn in business. The firm has also been affected by an increasingly competitive market place and says its cost-base is out of line.

Management will meet staff next week.

Morris Builders Providers first opened in 1983 and currently employs 85 staff.
