Talks to avert possible strike action at the Gresham Hotel in Dublin are due to get underway at the Labour Relations Commission today.

Workers at the hotel are planning industrial action this weekend to coincide with the All-Ireland football final.

They are in dispute with management over job cuts, redundancy terms and reductions in working hours.

The four-star Gresham employs around 150 people in total.
