Gardaí have expressed concern for the safety of a mother and daughter who have been missing from their home in Co Louth since yesterday morning.

Gardaí have expressed concern for the safety of a mother and daughter who have been missing from their home in Co Louth since yesterday morning.

Sixty-three-year-old Ann Duffy and her 25-year-old daughter Roisin, who has Down Syndrome, were last seen at the house in Heaadford at around 11am.

Ann is described as 5' 4" in height, of thin build, with short, brown hair.

She was wearing a brown cardigan, a black dress and brown shoes.

Roisin is 5ft in height, with black, shoulder-length hair and was wearing denim jeans.

The Gardaí say they want to speak to anyone with any information about their whereabouts.
