Teen injured in Limerick shooting

A teenager has been injured in a shooting incident in Limerick city.

The youth, who is believed to be in his late teens, was shot in the Caledonian Park area of the city just before 11am this morning.

He has been admitted to hospital where he is being treated for injuries to his leg.

His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
