Two men held in connection with armed raid
Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question two men in connection with an armed raid on a post office in north Co Dublin yesterday.
Two men aged in their 20s entered Bayside post office armed with a handgun and a knife which they used to threaten staff and customers.
One shot was discharged but no one was hurt.
The raiders then left the scene empty handed.
Two men were arrested a short time later at Bayside train station.
They are being questioned at Howth and Raheny garda stations.
