Second man dies after Louth factory accident
A second man has died in hospital following the accident that claimed the life of a 19-year-old worker at a grain factory in Co Louth yesterday.
The two men were overcome by fumes while working in a silo at the Drummond's factory in Knockbridge yesterday morning.
Nineteen-year-old local man Terry Brennan was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man, believed to be in his 30s, was rushed to hospital, where he lost his fight for life at around 3.30am today.
The Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have both launched separate investigations into the incident.
