Four held in connection with fatal Dublin stabbing
Three women and a man were being questioned today over the murder of a 21-year-old in a stabbing attack.
Maurice Martin was knifed a number of times and found lying in a pool of blood by a taxi driver in the Finglas area of north Dublin at dawn on June 12.
The arrested women, aged 20, 21 and 22, and the 24-year-old man were detained today in a number of early morning raids in the area.
The four were taken to stations in Finglas, Blanchardstown and Cabra for questioning under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí believe Mr Martin had been out socialising on the night before the attack and may have gone to a party in Finglas.
