A quarter of job applicants are going out the night before an interview, a new survey has found.

A quarter of job applicants are going out the night before an interview, a new survey has found.

Cork-based firm Hays Recruitment has also found that more than half of jobseekers are not spending enough time preparing for interviews.

The study found that more than half of applicants were spending less than two hours getting ready for an interview.

Job seekers are being advised to showing enthusiasm and spend more than half a day researching the company and getting to know their CV in relation to the job.
