Biker killed in Offaly crash

A male motorcyclist has been killed in a single-vehicle collision in Edenderry, Co Offaly.

The incident happened on the Edenderry to Carrick Road this afternoon.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is closed pending a crash investigation, and traffic diversions are in place.
