Limerick gardaí say explosive device used in attack
Gardaí in Limerick believe an explosive device was used in an attack on a house in the city in the early hours of this morning.
It detonated at the front of a house near Bengal Terrace in the city at around 5am causing minor damage.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that the occupier of a house on Hyde Avenue that was targeted by a gunman this morning, was injured in a separate shooting incident at the same house last year.
Gardaí are investigating a possible link between this morning's two attacks.
