Four men were being questioned by detectives probing a massive drugs seizure tonight – the second in less than a week.
Around 120kgs of Cannabis Resin worth approximately €800,000 was found in a vehicle which was stopped by officers in the Finglas area of north Dublin.
Three men in their mid to late 20s are being held under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The fourth man in his mid 30s was arrested in Co Meath and is also being held under section 2.
Two are being quizzed at Blanchardstown garda station, one at Finglas and one in Cabra.
Gardaí from the Organised Crime Unit, the National Drugs Unit and local garda units were all involved in the arrests.
Earlier this week heroin and cocaine, believed to have a street value of almost €1m, were found in Dublin after a surveillance operation by officers from Pearse Street Garda Station.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, two teenagers were arrested in west Dublin tonight after a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition were found.
They were take to Clondalkin and Ballyfermot garda stations.
One has been charged and released on bail to appear at the District Court in May.
The other remains in custody.
