Two arrested over Belfast assaults

Police in the North have arrested two people in connection with an assault on two men in Belfast.

The two were attacked by a number of men in Castlereagh just before 10pm last night.

They were forced into a van where they were assaulted, suffering a number of cuts and bruises.

The men, who are 19 and 28, were arrested last night.

The PSNI is appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
