British-Irish parliamentary assembly meet in Donegal

Politicians from all over Ireland and Britain are meeting in Donegal today for their annual conference.

They are gathered for the British-Irish parliamentary assembly, which is now in its 38th year.

Today marks the group’s second visit to the region in the last four years.

The assembly is comprised of 50 members from the British and Irish governments, as well as representatives from the North, Wales, Scotland, the Isle of Man and the Channel islands.
