Teenager dies after stabbing in Limerick city
A teenager has died after being stabbed during a row in the Moyross area of Limerick city overnight.
Gardaí say the incident happened on the doorstep of a house in Craevel Park at around 2am.
A 17-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and pronounced dead a short time later at the Midwestern Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle.
A number of areas have been sealed off for technical examination and two people have been arrested for interfering with the crime scenes.
One is due in court later this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the stabbing to come forward.
