Explosion at house in south Dublin

Gardaí and fire-fighters are at the scene of an explosion at a house in the Blackrock area of south Dublin this afternoon.

A number of people are understood to have been in the house at the time of the blast, but it is unknown if anyone has been injured.

The incident happened in St Anne's Square at around lunchtime.
