Two still in custody over attempted Galway raid
Two men remain in Garda custody this morning following an attempted robbery targeting a leading businessman in Co Galway on Sunday night.
Julian Flynn, his wife Emma and their four children were threatened and tied up by a gang of five men at their home in Turloughmore.
Two neighbours who called to the house were also held at gunpoint before gardaĂ arrived at the scene and foiled the attempted raid.
Two men were arrested, while a third suspect is under guard after presenting himself at a hospital with unknown injuries.
A search is continuing for the other two members of the gang.
