Gardaí seek possible witness to fatal Cork stabbing
Gardaí investigating yesterday morning's fatal stabbing in Cork say they want to speak to a man who may have been in the area at the time.
The 27-year-old victim, who has been named as Eddie Gallagher, was stabbed in the Friar's Walk area at around 7am yesterday.
He died in hospital a short time later.
Gardaí investigating the murder say they are anxious to speak to a man in his 50s or 60s who may have been in the vicinity of the incident.
He was wearing a dark jumper, dark trousers and a cap.
