Gardaí recover guns and heroin in Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin have recovered four handguns and heroin worth €87,000 in two separate operations.
Two handguns were recovered by gardaí in Tallaght investigating the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Stephen O' Halloran at Kilmartin Drive on Monday night.
The guns were found during a planned search on Tuesday - both weapons are being technically examined.
Meanwhile, officers in Finglas discovered two handguns and a quantity of heroin as part of their investigations into criminal activity in North Dublin.
Searches were carried out in the area following the murder of Graham McNally in Finglas on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old was gunned down in a gangland style attack in the Coldwinters area.
