Five arrested in connection with double murder in Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested five people in connection with last week’s double murder in the Summerhill area of the city.
The three women and two men were all detained in the north inner city this morning.
They are being questioned about the fatal shooting of Michael 'Roly' Cronin and James Moloney by a lone gunman last Wednesday night.
The pair were shot dead in a car by a man who was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle.
Mr Cronin died shortly after the shooting, while Mr Maloney died in hospital on Friday afternoon.
