Man stabbed to death in Co Tipperary
There has been a fatal stabbing in Nenagh, County Tipperary.
Gardaí were alerted at about 3.20am and found the victim with multiple stab wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after efforts by the emergency services to revive him failed.
The body was removed to Nenagh hospital.
“This scene is presently preserved and the services of the Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist have been requested,” a garda spokesman said.
“A post mortem is expected to be carried out in The Mid West Regional Hospital Limerick later today.”
No arrests have been made.
