Gardaí find guns and ammunition after explosives seized

Gardaí investigating an explosives find in Co Meath last night have recovered guns and ammunition during a number of follow up searches today.

Semtex and two detonators were discovered when detectives stopped and searched a car on the outskirts of Kells at around 11.30pm last night.

Three men from Co Cavan, aged 18, 24 and 32, were arrested and are being questioned at Navan and Kells Garda stations.
