Gardaí find suspected murder weapon in Howth murder

Gardaí are reported to have recovered the weapon used to kill Celine Cawley at her home in North County Dublin yesterday.

The 46-year-old mother of one was found beaten to death on the patio area of her house on Windgate Road in Howth at around 10am.

A post mortem examination on her body is due to be carried out.

Gardaí are searching for a man believed to be in his mid to late 20s and of slight build who was reported to have been seen in the area.
