Drugs worth more than £1m (€1.17m) were seized by police in the North, officers said.

Two men have been charged after the haul of cocaine and cannabis was discovered during raids of properties in Ahoghill and Ballymena in Co Antrim on Saturday night.

A 27-year-old was charged with possession of class A and class C drugs and possession with intent to supply while a 45-year-old was charged with money laundering offences.

Police said the cannabis seized has an estimated street value of £1m (€1.17m) while the cocaine was worth £150,000 (€175,000).
