The Army Bomb Disposal Unit is examining a suspect device found in Dublin.

It was discovered as four people were arrested in connection with an investigation into a suspicious device found at the headquarters of Shell Ireland in Dublin city centre in September.

Earlier today, Gardaí investigating the discovery of a suspect device at Shell Ireland's headquarters on Leeson Street in Dublin on September 9 arrested four people on Abbeyfield Road in Killester, north Dublin.

During the course of the operation they found another suspect device.

The Army Bomb Disposal Unit is examining it and AA Roadwatch says St Brigid's Road in Killester is closed.

Two men and two women have been arrested - they are being held at Pearse Street and Kevin Street garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
