Gardaí have named the three men who died in a two-car collision in the Ballintra area of Co Donegal over the weekend.

Gardaí have named the three men who died in a two-car collision in the Ballintra area of Co Donegal over the weekend.

They were 58-year-old councillor PJ Branley, who was the mayor of Ballyshannon, 40-year-old Dessie McNulty, from Ballintra, and 17-year-old Michael O'Sullivan, from Ballyshannon.

Mr Branley and Mr McNulty were travelling in a van that was in a collision with a car being driven by Mr O'Sullivan.
