Mr Justice Paul Carney set April 20, 2009 as the date for the trial of Stephen Egan (aged 24) of Belcamp Crescent, Coolock, Dublin 5.

Egan has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Douche at the prison on August 1, 2006.

A jury was sworn in for his trial last week but was discharged after it emerged that a jury member may have been from the same area as the victim.
