Govt to impose limits on bonuses for top bankers

The Government is set to impose limits on the bonuses available to top bankers as part of the deposit guarantee scheme aimed at propping up Ireland's financial sector.

Details of some of the conditions attached to the scheme are due to be published later today following its approval by the European Commission last week.
