Raiders hold up security van near Dublin Airport

A considerable sum of money is believed to have been stolen during a raid on a cash-in-transit van near Dublin Airport this morning.

A considerable sum of money is believed to have been stolen during a raid on a cash-in-transit van near Dublin Airport this morning.

The raiders are understood to have escaped with more than €100,000 after holding up the van near the Coachman's Inn in Cloghran.

Gardaí say they are investigating reports that shots were fired during the incident.
