Economy debate continues before Dáil takes summer break

The Dáil is due to continue debating the state of the Irish economy today before rising for its 11-week summer break.

TDs were initially due to break for the summer last week, but the Government agreed to allow an extra week of sittings to discuss plans for addressing the deterioration in the economic situation.
