Gardaí launch murder investigation after Dublin death

Gardaí have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Dublin yesterday morning.

Denis Brennan, 60, was found dead in his apartment in the Kilmainham area yesterday.

He had not been seen since the weekend and may have been dead for a number of days.

Gardaí are trying to determine Mr Brennan's last movements in an effort establish the circumstances in which he died.

They are appealing for anyone who may have information about the death to come forward.
