Six arrested in connection with murder of James Cronin
Gardaí have arrested six people in connection with the murder of James Cronin in Limerick earlier this year.
The 20-year-old's body was found in a shallow grave near Caledonian Park last April by gardaí carrying out searches following the murder of 40-year-old Mark Moloney in Garrowen that same weekend.
He had died from a gunshot wound.
Last night, two men in their early 20s and a 16-year-old boy were detained in connection with the murder along with three women in their 20s.
They were picked up in the Weston area of Limerick and are being held for questioning at various garda stations.
