One-third of adults 'do not eat enough dairy products'
Almost one-third of Irish adults do not get enough dairy in their diet, according to a survey commissioned by the National Dairy Council.
The survey found that many adults do not consume three portions of dairy products every day.
The Dairy Council has published the figures to coincide with a new campaign to raise awareness about the importance of milk and other dairy products.
Nutritionists say dairy is a vital source of calcium for healthy teeth and bones.
