Govt parties at odds over disclosure of gifts and shares

New draft legislation that would effectively hide aspects of politicians' financial dealings from public scrutiny is threatening to cause a rift between the Government partners.

The Green Party says it is not enthusiastic about a proposed bill that would allow politicians greater secrecy around the acceptance of gifts and the declaration of shares.
