Gardaí send file to DPP over Katy French death

A file has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions following the conclusion of the Garda investigation into the death of Katy French.

Ms French fell ill at a house in Co. Meath on the morning of Sunday, December 6, last.

The 24-year-old model was taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan, but never regained consciousness.

It's believed her death was caused by a drugs overdose.
