Polish centre concerned about Drimnagh investigation

A leading Polish organisation in Ireland has expressed concern about the garda investigation into the murders of Pawel Kalite and Marius Szwajkos in Dublin.

The Polish Information and Culture Centre says the release of four teenagers questioned over the fatal stabbings may "provide these people with an opportunity to prepare similar lines of defence".

It also says it cannot rule out the possibility that racism may have been a reason for the attack in Drimnagh nearly two weeks ago.

The group says it wants to initiate a serious dialogue with immigrant-led organisations, the Gardaí and the Government to prevent more incidents of this kind.
