A construction worker has climbed to the top of a crane in Dublin in protest at what he says is his employer's failure to comply with legal obligations.

A construction worker has climbed to the top of a crane in Dublin in protest at what he says is his employer's failure to comply with legal obligations.

Paul Hansard, who works on a site in the East Wall area of the city, claims his employer has refused to include him on a mandatory pension scheme.

He says this is a widespread practice in the building sector and contractors are being allowed to get away with it.
