Seven children have been hospitalised in the North following a collision between a school bus and a lorry in Co Tyrone this morning.

Seven children have been hospitalised in the North following a collision between a school bus and a lorry in Co Tyrone this morning.

The accident happened near Dungannon, causing major traffic disruption in the area.

The children’s injuries are currently being assessed, but none of them are believed to be seriously hurt.

Meanwhile, a number of car crashes are causing also traffic problems in Dublin.

Long delays have been reported following a collision on St John's Road West in Kilmainham, while a crash on the N2 at Wards Cross is also causing disruption.

Gardai say motorists can also expect delays in the Finglas area following an accident on the Beneavin Road, while the Dublin Port Tunnel has also been closed because of a camera malfunction.
