Man released after €200,000 Drogheda drugs haul

A man arrested in connection with a drug seizure in Co Louth yesterday evening has been released without charge.

A cannabis growing factory and evidence of a cocaine mixing operation were uncovered in the planned raid on the Termonfeckin road in Drogheda at 6.30pm.

Gardaí uncovered large quantities of cannabis plants and ecstasy tablets.

Cocaine and cannabis resin were also recovered.

The haul has an estimated value of over €200,000 a file on the matter is being prepared for the DPP.
