Gardaí investigating Katy French death make arrests

Gardaí investigating the death of model Katy French have arrested two people this morning.

The man and woman were detained just after 9am in Co Meath and are being held on suspicion of withholding information.

Ms French died on December 6, 2007, after collapsing at a friend's house in Kilmessan, Co Meath, following an apparent cocaine overdose.

Initial tests revealed that she did have cocaine in her system and there were reports last week that gardaí were poised to question three people when they received the results of further tests.
