Gardaí have issued a new appeal for information about the killing of Andrew Burns in Donegal last week.

Gardaí have issued a new appeal for information about the killing of Andrew Burns in Donegal last week.

The 27-year-old was shot dead in the border village of Donnyloop shortly after 7pm last Tuesday evening.

Gardaí are planning to mount checkpoints in the area in an effort to find out more information about what happened.

They will also be asking people to fill out questionnaires in a bid to jog their memories.
