Gardaí make latest heroin seizure in Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin have made yet another heroin seizure.
The latest haul brings the total quantity of the drug discovered in the city over the weekend to almost €2.3m.
Gardaí carried out a planned search in the Meath Market/South Earl Street area of the city yesterday.
They discovered heroin with an estimated street value of €200,000.
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
Meanwhile five men remain in garda custody in connection with two other drugs seizures in the capital this weekend.
Four men are being questioned in connection with a €2m heroin seizure in Tallaght on Friday night.
Three are in custody in Tallaght Garda Station, with the fourth being held in Rathfarnham.
Another two men, aged 22 and 32, were arrested at Harelawn Park in Clondalkin last night after heroin worth more than €60,000 was seized by gardaí.
One was released overnight, whilst the other man remains in custody at Ronanstown garda station.
