Gardaí continue Drogheda murder investigation

Investigations are continuing today into the murder of Darren McKeown in Drogheda.

The 29-year-old died in hospital yesterday, two days after he was found unconscious in the driveway of a house in Rowan Heights.

Gardaí have said he was subjected to a violent and sustained assault.

Detectives have also said they want to speak to any taxi drivers who may have been in the area at the time of the attack.
