Fewer than 25% of people blame Minister for Health Mary Harney for the recent cancer crisis in the health service, according to a survey by Irishhealth.com.

Just 23% of respondents to the survey said they blamed Ms Harney, while well over a half said it was ultimately the responsibility of HSE middle management. Twenty-three percent blamed local management.
