Gardaí in Monaghan have said that they are keeping an open mind regarding paramilitary involvement in the savage attack on a South Armagh man last night.

Gardaí in Monaghan have said that they are keeping an open mind regarding paramilitary involvement in the savage attack on a South Armagh man last night.

The victim, 21-year-old Paul Quinn, was found by an ambulance crew at a hay-shed near Oram, Castleblaney yesterday evening.

He was later pronounced dead at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda.
