Code of standards launched for Irish beauty industry

The National Standards Authority has launched a code of standards for the beauty industry in Ireland.

At present, beauty schools and schools for holistic therapies have been unregulated, leading to some complaints about varying standards.

They will now be able to apply for a certificate if they obey the new national beauty code.
