The Standards in Public Office Commission has decided not to mount an investigation into the Taoiseach under ethics in public office legislation.

The Oireachtas watchdog had received complaints from two members of the public about Bertie Ahern's receipt of large sums of money from wealthy friends and businessmen in the 1990s.
