Stab victim named by Gardaí

28-year-old Alan Nolan, from Cedarbrook Walk in Cherry Orchard died following a stabbing incident at his home in the early hours of this morning.

A 31-year-old man is being questioned by gardam in Ballyfermot.

A post-mortem examination carried out on the body of Alan Nolan has confirmed that he died as a result of a single stab wound.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is still being questioned at Ballyfermot Garda Station.

A second man who was injured during the incident is being treated at Saint James' Hospital, where his condition is described as stable.
