Prison officers released without charge after questioning

Two prison officers arrested in the Midlands yesterday in connection with a Garda investigation into the smuggling of drugs and other contraband in prisons, have been released without charge.

Their arrests were the result of Gardaí searches in the Midlands area yesterday.
