Gardaí investigate alleged sexual assault in west Dublin

Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a woman in the Clondalkin area of west Dublin this morning.

The incident was reported to gardaí after a passer-by found the victim in a distressed state on the Baldonnel Road in the early hours of the morning.

The road is currently closed for forensic testing and the woman is receiving medical treatment.
